Cato Institute denounces Path Dependence
Like Dr. Pangloss, the libertarians at Cato believe we live in the “Best-of-all-possible-worlds” and that to move against the forces of The Market would be an act of rebellion against God Himself.
You’ll remember that Dr. Pangloss was hung in Lisbon. He was, however, quite happy about the whole matter.
