Teenager Develops Encryption Scheme that Rivals RSA [ via Robot Wisdom ]

A sixteen year-old student from Ireland has developed an encryption scheme that may be as secure as the RSA scheme used in current Web transactions. However, the scheme operates ten times faster RSA. Sarah Flannery, the inventor, may ‘open source’ the system rather than patenting it.
