Server-Side XML

Microsoft is getting XML. Some new DLLs (shipping with IE5 Beta) allow you to load an XML document and an XSL stylesheet into a parser, then render XML. The only piece missing from this was an ADO connection to pull information out of a database and wrap it up as XML. However, you’ll want to see the ASP2XML component I mentioned last week.

Microsoft is making it damned easy to do XML/database sites. Will Oracle 8i compete?
