It’s Only Cigars [ via Newspeak ]
A judge’s opinion on the forfeture of $100 worth of Cuban cigars confiscated from an American traveler. Read to find the Catch 22. A US Government publication says it is okay to bring back small amounts of items purchased as gifts while in Cuba. If you are traveling to Cuba, you must have a foreign sponsor pay for the trip. However, any items purchased while in Cuba as a sponsored visitor are forfeit.
