Radio B92 Newspage

1 April 1999: The Yugoslav Government has taken over B92’s transmitter and licences. Any information from B92 should be considered as suspect. Of course, you should be subjecting domestic media to the same level of scrutiny.

The Serbian authorities have shut down Radio B92’s transmitter again. It’s one of the few media outlets in Yugoslavia that doesn’t parrot the Nationalist party line. Fortunately, they have been using the Internet to get information out of the country. You can read the B92 headlines in English.
