[via Tomlak] Scientific American has a one pager on the state of micropayments. In places where credit cards aren’t commonplace, such as Europe, micropayment schemes may fare better. The authors also envision a merge of micropayment and loyalty schemes such as Cybergold. At the least, the article’s a jumping off point.
