[ via Tomlak ] Another article on the disturbing trend of strategic patent litigation: make broad claims and force your competitors into either retreating from the market, or pay license fees. Unfortunately, the article suggests the best defense is more patents instead of either narrowly defined patents, or overturning current law on patents and software.
