Freemed.org Mission Statement

[ via Freshmeat ] Here’s the first release of a GPL’ed medical practice management system written in PHP. The goal of the developers is not only to get an Open Source package to doctors, but also gather data to share among providers on treatment outcomes so they can make treatment choices checked against broad populations, not just those in one medical plan.
