Greenspun sings praises of AOL Server
Web publishing auture Philip Greenspun pitches the AOL server to the Apache crowd at LinuxWorld.
“Apache needs 360 Unix processes to achieve what AOLserver does in 9″
However if you run AOL server, you’re limited to writing your code in TCL. Apache’s strength is that it supports extensions in Perl, C++, PHP, Python, and even Visual Basic.
