Adaptive Optics Help Bring Uranus in Focus

Earth-based telescopes aren’t dead. Check out the images made from the Palomar Observatory using a new adaptive optics system. The research team was able to resolve a decent image of the planet Uranus, its ring system, and its moon Puck.
