Stop Programming, Start Integrating

Simon St. Laurent writes insightful little essays on XML and development. Here’s one he posted to the XML-DEV list [ referenced via Ecletic ] about how the arrival of standard software components for XML (parsers, validators, etc) are transforming software development from a programming to a systems integration focus. My last two projects have been all about systems integration, so I agree with St. Laurent’s assessment.
