Eudora to become ad delivery vehicle

[ via MacInTouch ] Qualcomm’s decided to sell out its base of Eudora users by offering advertising space in the next version of the client. You can pay for a version to escape the ads, but maybe it’s time to investigate PINE, MUTT and other fine text-only email clients.
