Conservative Think Tank Defends George Bush Parody Site
[ via Nettime-l ] Here’s a twist for you. The Rutherford Institute, the conservative think tank who pushed Paula Jones’ harassment suit against Clinton, is defending an unlikely Bete Noir: the gwbush.com parody Web site. The reason for this unlikely pairing: the Rutherford Institute realizes the Web’s an effective organizing tool and doesn’t want the issue muddied with regulations.
