Martian flag flys abord Shuttle Orbiter

A “Martian Flag,” inspired by Kim Stanley Robinson’s Mars trilogy, flew aboard the Shuttle Orbiter Discovery last month. It will also be flown at the Arctic base NASA is using as a testbed for Mars mission development.
