The new screen version of “Mansfield Park” has come into some flack because it’s not “true to authorial intent.” Apparently this version points out that a major character makes their fortune off of slavery, brings another’s sexuality into the forefront and that makes the Camilla Pagilas of the world fume on Salon.com.
