The Gobbler

Sitting on a low ridge, off the Interstate highway between Madison and Milwaukee, sits the prestressed concrete, Jet-age wonder known as the Gobbler. When I was in Wisconsin, I passed it several times a year, on the way to catch a flight out of Milwaukee, visiting a friend, or going to Summerfest. I never ate there, as I thought the crossroads at Dellavan with the big mini-mart/gas station was the appropriate fuel/snack/restroom breakpoint on the road east. However, Eric Waggoner of Athens, Georgia has visited the Gobbler and documented it with photos.
