Asteroids is my favorite computer game. I can play it for hours if left undisturbed. Math geek, San Jose State professor, and SF writer Rudy Rucker wrote a new version of the game: Asteroids Alive. This time the rocks are aware of you, and will try and duck your bullets. With a little practice you can use this to herd the asteroids into a killing field like a border collie working a flock of sheep. Fun stuff. [Java]
