Back in 1980 a TV movie was made based on Ursula K. Le Guin’s The Lathe of Heaven, about a young man whose dreaming seems to alter reality. The movie’s been out of circulation for years due to the usual copyright claptrap. Fortunately, PBS will be reairing the movie (set in Seattle, but filmed in Dallas where a friend of mine was painted grey as an extra) this fall. You’ll also be able to get it on DVD and videotape.
