Afghan women challenge the Taliban

[ via The Nation ] The Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan formed in 1977 to fight the Soviets. Now they organize out of refugee camps in Pakistan to document the terror of the Taliban thugs against women and children, as well as run secret schools where Afghan women can get the education their hysterical male relations deny them (not that being a guy in Afghanistan is much better.)
