Octavia Butler Interview

There are more women of color (Mary Anne Mohanraj, Nalo Hopkinson) writing SF today, but for several years, Octavia Butler (who won the 1999 Nebula Award for Best Novel,) was the sole member of that group. Here’s an interview with her from NPR’s “Talk of the Nation” show. They spend much of the time talking about Parable of the Talents, which won the Nebula. [ Real Audio ]
