Young Al Gore on TV and the Presidency

It has been said that George W. Bush is clever, but not smart enough to know what’s really right and wrong (hint, making fun of people when you sign their death warrant isn’t nice.) On the other hand, Al Gore Jr. is touted as smart enough to know right from wrong, but has learned how to be a good opportunist. As evidence of this, consider an analysis of Al Gore’s senior thesis. In it, the young Gore predicted that TV would leverage the power of the Executive branch, and drive the major parties towards the center.
