Court orders don’t stop the LAPD, they just act with more guile

I heard about this the old-school way, listening to KPFA this evening on the drive home. It seems the LAPD, who has been ordered not to walk in an arrest everyone at the Convergence Center (where DNC protestors have been organizing,) came up with a new way to harrass demonstrators. At the Independent Media Center’s site (also HQ for Democracy Now! and Deep Dish TV,) the police decided there was a bomb threat and cordoned off the building. Interestingly enough, no bomb disposal gear or people showed up.
