James Tiptree, Jr. was honored this summer as part of the Fest der 2000 Frauen in Germany this summer. Tiles inscribed with the names of 1,000 women — famous, unknown, and mythic — were arranged into the walls of a meditative labyrinth. Tiptree benefactor Theresia Sauter-Baillet dedicated a stone to Tiptree. She says the labyrinth was displayed at the Hannover Expo and will be traveling from town to town thereafter.
