Judging Ashcroft
[ via Red Rock Eater ] Edward Lazarus says that no mattter how repugnate Senator Ashcroft’s views are, it’s understood that Bush is entitled to select his own people for Cabinet appointments. However, Ashcroft’s stunning lack of integrity, in his campaign against Ronnie White, should disqualify him.
