The Portola Loop: The Classical Bay Area Bike Route
In five years of living on the Peninsula, I’d never gotten around to riding “The Loop”. (My usual weekend ride has been a route up Stevens Creek Canyon, then up and over Mt. Eden down into Saratoga.) I rode The Loop this afternoon. Chain Reaction Bikes (where I bought the Trek I use for road work) maintains maps and directions for most of the popular Peninsula rides.
