[ via Guardian WebLog ] Barbara Ehrenreich has been thinking about how the US Government has become just plain mean in the past few years. So she is not surprised it created a monstrosity like Tim McVeigh.

It was the government that turned him into a warrior, and, of course, the government he eventually decided he was at war with.
