Bouncing along the Martian Plains: or I thought this was Pavonis — not The Village

NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab hit on a odd but interesting way to get around on Mars. It’s an image right out of “The Prisoner”. The lab is experimenting with prototypes for a two storey high inflated sphere which will blow along the Martian surface like a tumbleweed, or a Rover in pursuit of #6.
