Run From Ground Zero: Watching the WTC from Israel

Paul Ford’s narrative of watching the WTC attack from Israel is one of the best I’ve read. He is a New Yorker, and was in Israel working on an AI project. He watches the towers fall on TV, then learns the company he was excited about working for will shut down because the attack soured the capital markets. He is agonized because he is trapped, by the flight ban, in Israel and unable to go to his friends back in NYC.
