Attorney General Ashcroft’s behavior before the Senate this morning was the contemptible bilge I expected. RC3 sums it up: “How dare he attempt to make people feel ashamed for criticizing the government.“

So, is he a J. Edgar Hoover without a closet full of frocks, or is he a Maoist in denial?
