Blog Metadata
Over at The Shifted Librarian, Jenny mentions the problems I have with Web of Blogs and The Pepys Project, why have people enter all that metadata into remote databases when the databases can collect it themselves?
Aaron “Metadata” Schwartz shows you how to sign your pages. Then Web of Blogs and other projects can crawl a list from weblogs.com, blogdex or some other aggregator and be done with it.
