[ via Eric Snowden ] Tibet’s an interesting idea. The two main pieces are a collection of libraries, written in JavaScript, some of which patch a browser’s implementation to bring it up to near ECMA standard, the rest of the libraries implement a tag language (think ColdFusion or JSP) that allow for browser-server communication. The idea is to download the application to the browser and use the server for data. The two applications similar to this which I’ve seen were Webvan’s site (which we spent three hard months trying to convert to a wireless app at 2Roam) and KnowKnow’s engine.
