Tim O’Reilly gave a version of his essay on Inventing the Future as his keynote talk at the Apple WWDC this afternoon. He put a Mac spin on things (of course,) and said some things that make me proud to be a Mac Partisan: the Perl 6 internals team is using Mac OS. James Gosling’s using it at Sun. Airport (what he’d like us to call “No Cat”) networking is changing computing. Wee ha!
Tim’s a SF fan, or at least an avid reader. I want to get him on the program for ConJose.
