I saw Buffy with my friend Cyn last night (Cyn’s responsible for getting me hooked on the show), and the episode’s nasty had a voice which reminded me of the villan ‘Him’ from the “Powerpuff Girls” (which I’m not a huge fan of, prefering “Samurai Jack” by the same production groupmind).
If you haven’t seen Him, imagine a cartoonized Aubrey Beardsley devil, with lobster claws, wearing a tutu, and speaking in a sing-song voice only slightly less daft than Gollum. I’m assuming that the name is a joke on the H. Rider Haggard story.
