Update: Tony’s agreed to the wager. My forfeit is now $20 if the Angels sweep.
So it’s a SF/LA series. Giants versus Angels. P2P versus the RIAA. Wine versus The Mouse. Software versus Hollywood. Liberals versus Conservatives. Tony says the Angels will sweep the Giants. Feh. He says the Giants’ pitching staff is overrated. Feh. Livan can pitch (and win once we get through those first couple of innings), and he can hit.
But when Tony says that Disney’s product (and let us remember that they were bought to sell movie tickets — Angels in the Outfield indeed) will sweep a team with History (the Mets have a philosophy, the Giants have a saga), I have to step in.
