The Internet Science Fiction Data Base needs a new home

[ via Lawrence Person ] Because of the number of queries handled each day, the Internet Science Fiction Data Base’s provider cut off their access to the site’s back end. If you have capacity to spare, check with Al von Ruff.

The ISFDB was the primary searchable source on the field. The Locus Index, while authoritative, is flat HTML and not searchable.

The code and data for the ISFDB are distributed under an open source license, so you can establish a mirror on your server.
