The Konfabulator is another desktop scripting application for Mac OS. Konfabulator runs tools which communicate with the system, or consume web sites to give you dashboard views of local weather, battery life, Airport signal strength, et-cetera. You write tools in JavaScript and Konfabulator executes them with the same KDE JavaScript engine Sherlock uses. However, you build your tools in whatever text editor you have at hand, and you don’t have to futz with Interface/Project Builder like you would in Sherlock or Watson. It’d be nice to see them hook into OS 10.2’s XQuery engine.
