Since the first of NASA’s Mars Exploration Rovers launched yesterday, the ESA Mars Express launched last week, and the Japanese Nozomi probe is slowly making its way to Mars, a few years off schedule, I’ll reprise a few of my favorite Mars links from the past few years:
- Mars Today
- The animations on the Mars Exploration Rover site are fun, especially the landing sequence.
- More evidence of surface water on Mars.
- A Map of Mars
- As well as Mapping Mars.
- Blur goes to Mars
- And some photos:
- Under a Martian Sky
- Sunset
- My Funny Valentine
- Looking out from orbit
- No pyramids, but evidence of a marketing campaign.
- Ski Olympus Mons
- And Tim O’Reilly’s appreciation of Kim Stanley Robinson’s Mars novels.
