
Sunday I turned 40. That’ll take some getting used to.
The photo above is from sometime in 1964. That’s Mom, Jeanne Marie, who we miss, on the left. That’s Dad, George W., holding me. He was 41 when that photo was made.
I didn’t find that photo until a couple of years after Mom died. It turned up in a box of photos Dad sent me. It’s my favorite. Mom looks exhausted, but so cool in those cat’s eye glasses. Dad’s proud. I must had been pretty happy.
