Six Rules for Writing Superman

[ via Andrew Ducker ] Grant Morrison’s writing All-Star Superman for DC. In an interview, he gave six rules for writing The Man of Steel.

  1. Superman is the star of the show
  2. Play Clark as a role with a goal
  3. Smash superman’s soul
  4. Remember why you love him
  5. Don’t forget the past
  6. Find your inner Superman

I got the first issue of the new Superman last week and was blown away by the amount of story Morrison stuffed into those pages.
