Photoblogging Mars

The MRO (Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter) made orbit Friday afternoon (Pasadena time.) In a few months, the spacecraft settles into a final orbit and starts sending high resolution photos back to earth. So a thought:

We love to see the latest photos from all our robot Martian explorers, so why not make it easy. JPL ought to set up a Flickr account to drop off the latest images from MRO. Then we can subscribe to the photostream in our aggregators.

Look, the Mars Rovers have Live Journals, so it’s not that big a stretch.
