Octavia E. Butler Memorial Scholarship

A scholarship fund will pay tuition and expenses for a person of color at the Clarion West Writer’s Workshop. The Carl Brandon Society manages the fund, established by the Society, the Science Fiction Museum, and several publishers. Ms Butler, who died unexpectedly last month, taught several of my friends at Clarion, so this is a great way to honor her.
