John M. Ford died during the early hours of this morning. He wrote one of my favorite books, How Much for Just the Planet, and was a regular contributor at Making Light.
At the moment, most of the posts in my LJ friends’ list are remembrances of him. His passing is a great loss to fandom. My deepest sympathies to his partner Elise Matthesen.
