Richard Powers is Such a Geek. Yay!

Nice appreciation of novelist Richard Powers at the She’s Such a Geek book blog. Powers understands technology, yet, he’s still considered a mainstream writer.

    Thanks for the namecheck! I’ve been proselytizing about Powers for the last 15 years to anyone who would listen!

    And please come up to San Francisco for our book reading at 7 pm Thursday evening at Modern Times, 888 Valencia! I’ll be reading from my essay, though sadly I fall far short of the high standard of Richard Powers.
